Kosciusko Kettleheads Holding HomebrewFest Sept. 21
News Release
WARSAW — The Kosciusko Kettleheads, the county’s only homebrew club, will be hosting its 13th annual Kettleheads HomebrewFest.
The event will take place from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, in the 100 block of North Buffalo Street, downtown Warsaw.
The Kettleheads, with the motto “Brew Good. Do Good,” prioritize making a positive impact in the community and use their craft to support local initiatives. The annual HomebrewFest is one of the group’s most impactful initiatives, where they come together to serve a wide variety of beers to the community and raise funds for Combined Community Services, a local nonprofit agency that provides assistance for those in need in Kosciusko County.
“We homebrewers firmly believe that we have one of the best hobbies on Earth, and this is our chance to share the hobby we love with our community,” said Jason Rich, the Kosciusko Kettleheads president. “Serving our brews and talking to patrons about our process makes this one of our favorite days of the year. What better way to show the community what can be made in your own house than to have an event like the HomebrewFest? And, even better, we get to support a great organization like CCS at the same time.”
During the event, Kettleheads from all walks of life will come together to serve a selection of beers, ciders and meads to the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample the beverages that have been brewed by the very individuals pouring them.
HomebrewFest patrons will have wristbands that allow them to come and go from the tent to enjoy food and entertainment at the Warsaw One Festival, which will take place in downtown Warsaw on the same evening. While HomebrewFest patrons may bring food into the festival tent, alcohol must be kept and consumed inside the tent at all times.
Tickets for the HomebrewFest are available for purchase online at kettleheads.org/homebrewfest2024. Early bird tickets are priced at $25, while tickets at the gate will be available for $35. Please note that tickets at the gate will be cash only. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Combined Community Services to continue offering assistance to the community, including food pantry services and utility assistance.
The 13th annual Kettleheads HomebrewFest is being sponsored by Lewis Salvage Corp. The festival is also grateful for the contribution of Maple Leaf Farms, serving as the pint sponsor for the event.
