WARSAW — November is shaping up to be another great month at Warsaw Community Public Library, with a variety of events for all ages and interests.
For our youngest visitors, we’re continuing our regular programs with Toddler Story Time on Wednesday mornings (Nov. 6, 13 and 20) and Preschool Story Time & Activity Stations on Monday and Friday mornings (Nov. 1, 4, 8, 15, 18 and 22). Library Lego is set for Saturday, Nov. 2, and greyhounds return for Greyt Readers on Saturday, Nov. 23.
For something the whole family can enjoy, join us for the Vocal Vision Youth Choir at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4. This choir features students from grades three to 10 singing classical, folk and contemporary music, promising a delightful evening for all.
New for teens, the Read Between the Lines Book Club launches on at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, offering a relaxed, friendly space to chat about books, enjoy themed activities and sip hot beverages.
November adult programs offer many creative opportunities. On Tuesday, Nov. 5, explore Diamond Painting, a unique and calming craft. There is no cost, but registration is required. Wagon Wheel’s Kira Lace Hawkins returns for Fun Theatre Craft for Senior Adults on Nov. 18 and 20, guiding participants in making comedy/tragedy masks. Registration is required, but there is no cost. There’s another Tea & Canvas on Monday, Nov. 18. Registration is required; cost is $15. The Adult Creative Writing Club meets at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19. The creative month wraps up with an Acorn Garland Craft on Monday, Nov. 25. Registration is required, but there is no cost.
There are some non-creative options for adults as well. Euchre is scheduled from 2:30-4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12. At 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, Stacy Leak from Stillwater Hospice will present “Myths of Hospice,” and Purdue Extension will be here at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, for a presentation on identity theft.
We hope you’ll join us in November as we create, learn and connect. Please note that the library will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day and Nov. 28-30 for Thanksgiving.
