WINONA LAKE — The Winona Lake Town Council had a one-minute meeting Thursday, Nov. 7, to approve an ordinance establishing a cash change fund.
Council Vice President Austin Reynolds explained the fund was for the Miller Sunset Pavilion Ice Rink for the rink employees to be able to handle and receive cash.
Part of the ordinance states the Miller Sunset Pavilion operation is permitted to have a cash change fund in the amount of $500. The town manager is the party responsible for the direction, supervision and accounting of the cash change fund.
With no questions, Councilman Barry Andrew made a motion to approve the ordinance and Councilman Jason Zaugg seconded it. The motion passed 4-0. Council President Jim Lancaster was unable to attend the meeting.
