Warsaw Swimmers Roll On
WARSAW – Another strong team performance carried the Warsaw boys swimming team to another win Saturday.
The trio of Josh Miller, Jayden Parrett and Spencer Davidson led the host Tigers past Goshen 116-70 in Northern Lakes Conference competition.
Miller, Parrett and Davidson each won an individual event and all three swam on two of the three victorious relay teams for the Tigers.
Miller won the 200 freestyle in a top time of 1:56.22. Parrett was first in the 100 butterfly in 56.19 and Davidson topped the field in the 100 freestyle in 49.60.
Matt Hastings won the 200 IM in a top time of 2:20.10 for Warsaw. Zach Taylor took first in the 500 freestyle in 5:06.82 and Matt Wildman won the 100 breaststroke in 1:06.77.
The team of Wildman, Davidson, Parrett and Taylor won the 200 medley relay race in 1:45.20. The foursome of Miller, Davidson, Taylor and Ethan Cook won the 200 freestyle relay event in 1:34.01. The team of Miller, Parrett, Cook and Mac Pelo won the 400 freestyle relay event in 3:29.57.
Coach Nate Long’s team is now 5-1 overall and 4-1 in the NLC.
Warsaw hosts league foe Plymouth Saturday at 9:15 a.m.
