As StaceyPageOnline.com was the first to report on Saturday, an attempted abduction was reported in Warsaw.

The 12-year-old victim told StaceyPageOnline.com that she was playing at the end of her driveway, in the 800 block along CR North 175 East, when she was approached by a man. The man allegedly told her he had a bag of suckers in his vehicle and asked if she wanted some.

According to the victim, she told him no and then kicked the suspect, who then ran to his nearby vehicle.

The girl described the suspect as being in his 50s or 60s and she believes he was bald but he was wearing a black ball cap with no bill at the front. He was wearing a red T-shirt, khaki shorts and black sandals. He was also said to be slender in build and approximately 5-feet 6-inches tall. The victim did not get a license plate number but described his vehicle as a small white car.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department did put out an attempt to locate the vehicle on Saturday night but as of this morning there have been no developments in the case. The incident occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m.
