Fort Wayne’s Embassy Ranked Top Theatre
FORT WAYNE – The Embassy Theatre is is ranked at number 90 in the 2013 Year End Worldwide Ticket Sales Top 100 Theatre Venues in Pollstar’s 2013 Special Edition.
Pollstar is the leading industry publication for the entertainment business and inclusion on this list puts the Embassy Theatre in the company of such iconic venues as Radio City Music Hall in New York and The Royal Albert Hall in London. The Embassy Theatre has been regularly ranked in the top 100 over the past several years and ranked in the Top 50 in early 2011.
Northern Indiana residents supported the Embassy in 2013 with their attendance, giving the venue several sold-out shows such as Steely Dan, The Avett Brothers, Straight No Chaser and the Embassy-originated concert Down the Line. Already 2014 has started out very strong with several shows selling briskly, including Crosby, Stills and Nash, Jim Gaffigan and Bill Cosby, to name a few.
