David W. Hyde, 65, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, in Grace Village Healthcare Center, Winona Lake, Ind.

On July 11, 1948, he was born in Warsaw to Bruce and Isabella (Blodgett) Hyde Sr. He was a lifetime resident of the Warsaw area, where he was employed with Biomet Inc. David was of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed making ceramics with his mom and going camping.

He is survived by three sisters: Jean (Bob) Campbell, Warsaw; Esther Zimmerman, Mentone, Ind.; and Glenda Wood, Warsaw; two brothers: Bruce (Sharon) Hyde Jr.; and Bill (Janet) Hyde, both of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister: LuAnn Rice; and a brother: Chuck Hyde.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. No funeral services are planned.
