Geist Tabbed For Junior All-Stars
INDIANAPOLIS – Penn standout Jordan Geist has been selected for the IndyStar Junior All-Stars.
Geist, a star guard for the Kingsmen, was one of six players statewide named to the Core Six team for the Junior All-Stars Wednesday.
A total of 18 players were named Junior All-Stars by the IBCA. The Core Six, including Geist, will play in four exhibition games in June. The Juniors will play the Kentucky Junior All-Stars June 6 in Indianapolis and June 7 in the Lexington. The team will also play games versus the Indiana Senior All-Stars on June 9 and 11 at sites and times to be determined. Players named to the North Six and the South Six will each play in two of the exhibition games.
Geist, the leading scorer for the Kingsmen this past season, helped Penn go 23-2. The Kingsmen, coached by Al Rhodes, lost 57-55 to Lake Central in the Class 4-A regional final at Michigan City.
