WCN Aiding In Tornado Disaster
World Compassion Network is responding to the storms and tornado disasters with its outreach mission.
Greg Rauen with WNC is preparing to go to Alabama to do an assessment and help the local churches with outreach. He will be taking hygiene kits, food and cleaning supplies. WCN will be partnering with S.O.M.E. to set up a feeding station for volunteers and victims of the disaster.
Below is a list of what is needed for outreach. These items will help provide care for the most vulnerable people during this crisis. Since WCN works through a local church to enable them to touch people’s lives when they need it the most – long term relationships are built and Christ is glorified. WCN would like to be able to have these items staged and ready in its warehouse for the next disaster.
• tarps • 18 gallon tubs with lids • liquid laundry detergent • gloves – all types • face masks • permanent markers • rolls of duct tape to help label items • zippered plastic gallon and quart baggies • heavy duty trash bags
Donations may be dropped off to the World Compassion Network office at 795 W. 400 N., Warsaw. Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
