The Warsaw Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce continues to celebrate ‘Chamber Week’ May 5-9. Each day this week the WK Chamber has focused on one of the five chamber initiatives.

On Monday, the focus was networking. Networking is in the culture of your WKChamber, however, in addition the WKChamber held a special lunch for area Chambers in Kosciusko County. In addition to the Warsaw Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce Board, Ambassadors and staff, the Syracuse/Wawasee Chamber of Commerce and the Pierceton Chamber of Commerce were in attendance.

Tuesday the focus was advocacy and the WKChamber strongly encouraged the community to vote! The chamber is your voice in local, state and federal government. We advocate for Kosciusko businesses and promote economic growth for the region. One objective is to bring awareness to the community to shop and support the local businesses.

Today the chamber concentrated on economic development. The WKChamber dropped into the Kosciusko County Convention & Visitors Bureau, which brings in approximately 8,000 visitors and their dollars to our community each year. The Visitor Center has items from local vendors for sale as well on information sources for everything Kosciusko County.

Also, visit the Kosciusko Farmers Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays in downtown Warsaw to support local vendors.

To complete Chamber Week, Thursday’s focus will be member benefits. The Warsaw Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce will have a Business After Hours, an event hosted by chamber members and organized by the WKChamber, at Goodwill Industries. Chamber Member employees are invited and may bring a non-member guest. For a member business directory go to wkchamber.com. On Friday, business counseling day, the WKChamber and WorkOne will conduct the junior and senior Career Expo & Job Fair.
