It remains unclear why at least six staff members, and possibly more, of the Wawasee Community School Corporation were allowed to get COVID-19 vaccines even though the Indiana Department of Health has not stated teachers or school staff are considered eligible. The WCSC staff members were given the vaccines primarily through being on a waiting list at a Walmart pharmacy.
